2 Volumes Weekly Publications bound together with indexes. George Newnes Ltd London 1900. Issues from 11th November 1899 to August 18 1900 "Descriptive and illustrative of the Campaign in South Africa. The Second Boer War." As you can see from the pics there is wear and tear to the covers of  these volumes. The pages are browning as one would expect. I am not sure what the white card is doing there think it has been added to reinforce the strength of the books. (see pics below for general overall condition) Please feel free to ask questions. Very very interesting and I am sure would make an amazing addition to the library of anyone with an interest in the Anglo-Boer Wars. No overseas postage I am afraid as the weight of these volumes would make the cost prohibitive. Overnight Courier (Aramex) R99

Heron, 1974. hardcovers, twelve volumes, complete, illustrated, condition: very good. This is Churchill’s history of the epic struggle that was so indelibly stamped by his leadership. Seldom, if ever, has history endowed such a statesman with both singular ability to make history, and singular ability to write it. Churchill’s eloquence and insight frames the world-defining events of his time in truly enduring prose. This twelve-volume epic has been called “indispensable reading for anyone who seeks a true understanding of the war that made us what we are today.” An attractive set of twelve volumes bound in quarter brown leather over olive brown simulated kid skin with an embossed gold bust on each cover with gilt banded decorations to the spines & covers. Each volume has decorative end papers & a yellow plaited ribbon marker. (Heron Books) This set is heavily illustrated throughout with maps, diagrams & black/white photographs.

Author(s): various  Title:       The Inter-Services Journal on  Aircraft Recognition, Volumes I, II, III   ISBN: none  Publisher/place: Ministry of Aircraft Production (UK)  Year of Publication: 1942 - 1945   Binding: hardcover (large format)  Dustjacket: none  Weight: 2510g  Notes/Condition:    This is a collection of monthly journals which have been bound together.  The first is dated September 1942 and the last September 1945.  The last couple of journals are marked as "Restricted".   Binding used is a hardback with cloth cover.   The cloths have some wear around the edges, and at the head and tail of the spine.  On the front, at the bottom right corner, there seems to be some water damage, though this has not gone through to the front end-page.  An ex-libris plate of the previous owner is on the front end-page.  Binding is intact and sound; no loose pages.   Many of these journals seem to have been folded in four, before binding.  It would not have been possible to fold them this way after binding. Most of the individual journals have the inscription "A.M Campbell, MASTER COPY" on the front cover (the ex-libris plate is for "K.B. Newman incidentally).   Please see pictures, as these form part of the description.
