 2 Volumes Weekly Publications bound together with indexes. George Newnes Ltd London 1900. Issues from 11th November 1899 to August 18 1900 "Descriptive and illustrative of the Campaign in South Africa. The Second Boer War." As you can see from the pics there is wear and tear to the covers of  these volumes. The pages are browning as one would expect. I am not sure what the white card is doing there think it has been added to reinforce the strength of the books. (see pics below for general overall condition) Please feel free to ask questions. Very very interesting and I am sure would make an amazing addition to the library of anyone with an interest in the Anglo-Boer Wars. Beige cloth hardcovers, no dust jacket, in 6 Volumes. Binding is solid and internally clean and bright. Published 1951, '52, '53,'54,  and '56. Foxing on some end pages. A good set. Postage in RSA = R66.00

Published from 1914 to 1919 During WWI, weekly periodicals with news updates and photos were published and made available to the public. Readers bought the weekly periodicals and kept them. At the end of each year, the 52 periodicals for that year were sent to Amalgamated Press, London, who then bound them in book form and returned the bound volumes to the reader.
