United States of America Sealed Statehood Quarters Proof Coin Set 2006 A Proof Set is still sealed and in exc ellent condition, including the original protective box and certificate of authenticity. Launched in 1999, the United States Mint's 50 State Quarters Program was a 10-year initiative that honored each of that nation's states in the order that they ratified the Constitution or were admitted into the Union.  Each quarter was produced for about 10 weeks and will never be produced again. The program ran untill 2008 but due to it's popularity with the public and collectors alike it was extended with one year to include the Territories Quarters Program. Which was a one-year initiative in 1999 to honor the District of Columbia and the five U.S. Territories.   State designs are displayed on the reverse (tails) of the quarters, while the obverse design displays the familiar image of George Washington.  But, to accommodate state designs on the reverse, the words "United States of America," "Quarter Dollar," "Liberty," and "In God We Trust" all appear on the obverse.   INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS WELCOME

1981 'The Knesset' State medal Diameter: 70mm Copper based alloy At the very height of the War of Independence, the people were called upon to elect 120 representatives and on 14TH February 1949 the first session of Israel's Legislature - the Knesset - was convened in temporary quarters. The cornerstone for a permanent home for the Knesset was set in 1958 on a high and rugged hill in the western part of Jerusalem, the nation's capital. The "Knesset Law 5718 (1948)" stipulated that among its major functions, the Knesset shall make laws, approve the Cabinet and scrutinize its work, and elect the President of the State.

Although launched as the "America the Beutiful Quarters Program" it soon became known as the national parks program due to the fact that it heavily featured that nation's national parks on the reverse design.  Each quarter was produced for about 10 weeks and will never be produced again. This coin features West Virginia's Harpers Ferry National Park design.
