POLLYWOG IS STOKED TO PRESENT THIS SICK SURFBOARD FROM RUSTY! The Piranha was one of our most popular designs. It was primarily built for small surf, but it ended up being a very versatile board. We have re-tooled this design with a clean, full, round pin, and are calling it the Smoothie. It has a timeless outline designed to accommodate a wide range of conditions. The bottom starts with a slight roll in the nose transitioning to a light single through the center. This shallow single blends into a sunken double concave in front of the fins and an elevated double concave between the fins that finally ends in a double barrel vee of the tail. If you can¿t appreciate the tech talk, just know that the board surfs fast & smooth. Drop us a mail or call for any further info and free professional advice! POLLYWOG IS STOKED TO PRESENT THIS SICK SURFBOARD FROM RUSTY! The Grim Ripper concept was to develop a user-friendly, performance groveler that literally tears apart waves. Rusty collaborated with team rider Jake Halstead on the design, and feedback has been stellar. The board features a double bump squash tail, allowing a wider template overall but reduced tail area behind the back foot, producing exceptional release and tighter radius turns. Relaxed rocker, combined with full performance rails and a light single to double concave bottom, keeps the board on top of the water and skating through sections effortlessly. Jakes direct feedback: ¿High performance meets user friendly! During a south swell I grabbed a set wave, went straight vertical & blew the tail out, then went wide out on the shoulder into a 3 second, full buried rail arc.¿ Drop us a mail or call for any further info and free professional advice! He knows and understands the various wave set ups here in South Africa which is priceless when it comes to getting you the right board. The latest in our quest for the ultimate ¿Domesticated¿ design. The RV is exactly as its name implies¿A ¿Recreational Vehicle¿. Designed for extracting maximum fun with minimum effort and ease of exploitation of your precious free time¿. If you want to cruise the coast in style and comfort, surf in a resplendent state of wave catching excess and bliss, then the R.V. is for you. The design stems from a blend of the Bottom Feeder/Couch Potato/LayZboy genre. Featuring the same ¿tip to tip¿ vee bottom as its predecessors. The vee negates the substantial volume and allows easy rail to rail transitions on wide, thick boards with a lot of surface area. Noticeable updates include the double wing flyers added to the tail, to reduce surface area and increase bite and precision in turns. The reduced surface area adds confidence of not sliding out in hard snaps, and carves. The nose outline has also been tweaked to reduce some are in the forward 12-18¿ of the board, but without reducing drive down the line or paddle ability. The nose feels like it ¿comes around¿ quicker in turns and looks ¿and feels, like more of a performance design. We also shallowed the vee up front (for more trim speed and instant burst in the take off) and actually deepened the vee under the rear foot. We did this for a more solid and forgiving¿¿controlled¿ feel in turns and carves AVAILABLE IN DIMENSIONS BELOW: LENGTH WIDTH THICKNESS CL¿S 5¿3¿ 20.00¿ 2.32¿ 27.78 5¿5¿ 20.50¿ 2.32¿ 29.41 5¿6¿ 20.75¿ 2.38¿ 30.10 5¿7¿ 21.00¿ 2.38¿ 31.94 5¿8¿ 21.25¿ 2.44¿ 33.83 5¿9¿ 21.50¿ 2.50¿ 35.77 5¿10¿ 21.75¿ 2.56¿ 37.52 5¿11¿ 22.00¿ 2.63¿ 39.62 6¿0¿ 22.25¿ 2.75¿ 42.18 6¿1¿ 22.50¿ 2.75¿ 43.71 6¿3¿ 23.00¿ 2.89¿ 48.19 6¿4¿ 23.00¿ 2.93¿ 49.23

The VooDoo Child features a modern, cutting edge, high performance, concave hull. There is a generous single and double concave cutting through curvy rail rocker, with the deepest concave being through the fins, directly under the rear foot. These elements work together to easily generate speed, and whip tight radius carves, still allowing controlled release for tail free surfing. Other elements include a more noticeably parallel outline through the center (for drive) that blends rapidly into a pulled in nose tip. There is a noticeable bump/hip into a wide squash tail, which encourages quick, angular surfing and harkens back to some classic lines from late 80¿s design ethos. In the tradition of the Scorcher and Sub Scorcher, this board is based around not having to work for your speed. The conservative rocker has a constant curve, and combined with soft, forgiving rails, a curvy outline and a shallow concave, it keeps from feeling sticky and flat¿like many low rocker Shortboards. First launched in 2013, this Double wing ¿Super¿ Swallow, remains a consistent custom order favorite and for a lot of surfers. In the tradition of the Rocket and its many knock offs, the Shortround bridges the gap between easy riding ¿cheater¿ boards and the HP Shortboard. Tested all around Southern California in the summer of 2014, this board has more than impressed. The buzz about it is spreading fast. The speed comes from a low entry rocker and wide-ish nose, with a forward wide point and generous concave throughout. The performance comes from a moderate, but not flipped up, tail rocker, a double concave through the fins and the same sort of modern bump squash tail that you would find on a typical contest style, small wave HP shortboard. All combined, it doesn¿t look like anything fancy and there are no gimmicks, but some times less is more, and there is a lot packed into this little board. He knows and understands the various wave set ups here in South Africa which is priceless when it comes to getting you the right board. The Lazy Toy takes high volume/low rocker, neutral bottom curves, small wave surfboard designs to a wider range of waves and a more versatile and diverse playing field. Using an elliptical, ¿Double ender¿ outline, the Lazy Toy is inspired by the boards ridden by guys like Wayne Lynch and Michael Peterson in the 1970¿s. These elliptical, continuous curves and outlines, combined with our proven ¿Domesticated¿ rockers, create a board that has a very open and forgiving sweet spot (as far as foot placement goes) and can be ridden in waves from knee high to over head with ease. Because of the narrow hipped, continuous curve, outline, you can surf this with a centered stance for down the line 70¿s inspired speed runs, down carves and cutbacks¿. or step back on the tail and go vertical off the bottom and in the pocket. The bottom contours (mostly flat rail to rail, with rolled, soft edges and a spiral vee under the rear foot) neutralize the high volume and free the board up, making it easy to push and permeate the rail deep and perpendicular into the face of the wave¿..rather than skate flat on top of the water. POLLYWOG PROUDLY PRESENTS THIS SICK SURFBOARD FROM BILT! The Spitfire Stinger from Bilt surfboards provides a nice bit of width and volume up in the nose area to assist with paddling and catching the smaller flatter waves. The Stinger offers a fantastic outline coupled with a touch more width in the center translating into getting through those flat sections much easier and allowing for smoother carves out on the open face for a more forgiving and fun surfing experience. Down towards the tail end you can choose between a 5 fin or 4 fin or thruster to adjust and tweak this board's performance.  This particular board has a round tail allowing for smooth drawn out turns due to a bit of the extra width in the tail section. The incredible thing about the Spitfire stinger is that the actual stinger on the bottom allows for the tail to be kept wider under your foot for stability and control and the smaller area behing your foot allows for more responsive, dynamic turns giving you the best of both worlds. A  single to double concave will improve overall speed and flow and a slight rocker up in the nose will ensure additional speed on the flatter sections and the smaller days. Plus the additional rocker on the tail will increase responsiveness.  Stock Dimensions:   LENGTH WIDTH THICKNESS VOL 5¿4¿    (162.6cm) 18 1/8 (46.04cm) 2         (5.08cm) 20.4L 5¿6¿    (167.6cm) 18  1/4  (46.34cm) 2 1/16 (5.24cm) 21.8L 5¿7¿    (170.2cm) 18 5/16 (46.51cm) 2 1/8   (5.40cm) 22.7L 5¿8¿    (172.7cm) 18 3/8   (46.67cm) 2 3/16  (5.56cm) 23.8L 5¿9¿    (175.3cm) 18 1/2   (46.99cm) 2 1/4 (5.7cm) 25.1L 5¿10¿  (177.8cm) 18 5/8  (47.30cm) 2 5/16  (5.87cm) 26.3L 5¿11¿  (180.3cm) 18 3/4   (47.60cm) 2 3/8 (6.03cm) 27.7L 6¿0¿    (182.9cm) 19        (48.26cm) 2 7/16   (6.19cm) 29.1L 6¿1¿    (185.4cm) 19 1/4   (48.90cm) 2 1/2   (6.35cm) 30.8L 6¿2¿    (188.0cm) 19 1/2   (49.53cm) 2 5/8    (6.67cm) 33.2L 6'3"    (190.5cm) 19  3/4  (50.17cm) 2 11/6   (6.80cm) 34.9L 6¿4¿    (193.0cm) 20         (50.80cm) 2 3/4    (7cm) 36.7L

POLLYWOG IS STOKED TO PRESENT THIS SICK SURFBOARD FROM RUSTY! Rusty South Africa affords us the opportunity to ride the boards the best surfers in the world are performing on, right here at home at our local beach or point break. Yes Thanks is the newest addition to the Kerrlection series. A wider, fuller performance short board designed for knee to solid overhead surf. Features a bottom with continues rocker and a fairly deep single concave splitting into a double through the fins and off the tail. This thing hops and has heaps of pop! Another key feature is a slightly wider tail block and added bump in the outline at mid fins, acts as a pivot point to enhance turning. All of the above make this a very forgiving and versatile design. If you are a ripper and have not tried this yet you should, it will be one of the best additions to your quiver. TORSION SPRING The idea behind the Torsion Spring is to create a one piece hull where the left side talks to the right side with dynamic flex without losing kinetic energy from the wave. This core gives you the quiet, smooth, feeling of a polyurethane board but the lightness of an EPS board. Fully waterproof, if you get a small ding, you don¿t have to worry about ending your session. The Carbon Kevlar tape used along the rail in this 3D perimeter reinforced construction resists buckling. The way it wraps onto the top of the tail in the fin zone frees the tail up and provides extra rebound out of turns. Biaxial cloth is used to increase compression resistance without noticeably affecting the flex.
