R20K CTC pm (negotiable according to experience.) - Atlantis National manufacturer and leader in the industry seeks a qualified junior SHEQ Officer to manage the full portfolio of OHSA/ISO/SHEQ Officer. Supervise, implement and adherence to all prescribed legislation/rulings. Report writing, supervision, stats collation for presentation. Training Facilitator.Meeting attendances (various) Assertive, work well under pressure + sound communication skills Resume soonest or latest Report directly to the Operations Maanager. Purpose of the position: To be responsible for ensuring the quality conformance of raw materials/components, work in progress and finished goods. Provide effective security, health/safety/housekeeping, fire protection and general site maintenance service at the plant. Active management of resources/contractors and the on-going evaluation/auditing is required. Managing all the ISO and SHEQ programs. Required SA citizen, own transport and valid Code 08. Reside locally. English and Afrikaans Sound PC Skills Min 4 years exp. in a similar plant. Tertiary SHEQ/ISO qualification plus Matric mathematics. Sound references to be provided. The position ensures that the Company and its Contractors comply with the requirements of legislation by monitoring contractor SHE compliance, attend and report at safety meetings and ensure statutory and regulatory compliance by conducting site audits The SHEQ Officer coordinates and participates in the investigation of incidents, accidents and near misses, audit and conduct Review Contractor Risk Assessment. The SHEQ Officer monitors the implementation of Safe Work Procedures and maintains and updates all relevant SHEQ department administrative duties. Education and Formal Training · National Senior Certificate / Matric · SAMTRAC Certificate or equivalent occupational SHE training · National Diploma or equivalent in Health & Safety Management · First Aid level 2 Basic Certificate · Fire Prevention Certificate · Environmental & Quality qualification an advantage Offering between R 15 000pm at an entry level to R 25 000pm for very advanced experience.
