 You are looking at an ultra rare vintage Bulova Selfwinding watch from the 1960's. Bulova did not make many rectangular or oblong shaped selfwindinding watches but the 1960's was when square style watches came into the limelight. This stunning watch has a st/steel case measuring 42 mm including crown and 42 mm from lug to lug, very square indeed. Has a raised crystal and curvex style back. To say this watch is ultra rare is an understatement as this will probably be the only time you will have a chance to own it or to see it, to find another one like this will be like looking for a needle in a haystack. Like I always say do not take my word for it, check it out for yourself. The price for any decent vintage Bulova has sky rocketed. I acquired this watch from an American collector many years ago it has been in my valued collection ever since. I can also tell you that its high grade 17 jewel Swiss made movement is superb, because every time I pick this watch up after its been dormant and give the winder a few turns it runs and keeps time like a dream. This watch is all original with its Bulova signed crown except for the new leather strap. To my knowledge it has never been opened and I am not quite sure how to do that with this watch so there will be no images of the movement. I therefore have no service history to report. This watch does show some aging but is in all round good condition for its age and very comfortable and impressive on ones wrist. The great Bulova Watch Company does not exist today it was bought by The Citizen Watch Corporation a number of years ago.  NB.
