Requirements • Qualified diesel mechanic. • Code 14 drivers license with PDP, dangerous goods will be advantageous. • Clean criminal record. • Experience on fuel tankers/trailers. • Own tools required. • Knowledge on fuel sensors, valves and fuel delivery system will be advantageous. • Preferably a none smoker. • Computer literacy. • Punctual and good communication skills. • Honest and trustworthy. • Sober habits. • Knowledge of Merc Star diagnostic system. Please send CV to etongoodwin@e2estaffing.co.za Responsibility: • Repairs to fleet of fuel tankers and trailers. • Daily inspections. • Prep for Roadworthy inspection • Safe loading prep and repairs • Knowledge of MAN, Mercedes Benz and Scania trucks. • Servicing of trucks and trailers. • Standby. • Afterhours and weekend work if and when needed. • Carry out preventative maintenance and ensure fleet is kept in optimal condition. • Control a small store and account for stock levels. • Basic electrical knowledge, repairs to lights etc and basic fault finding. • Pre-trip inspections to be done once fortnightly before vehicles depart.
