Key Performance Outputs The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Creating, implementing and maintaining a safe operating environment for company’s clients, including environmental and occupational health and aviation safety. Monitoring operational activities on the Apron and Terminal Building. Submit required reports to the Department Head and produce monthly safety statistics. Monitor health, safety and environmental aspects with regards to all relevant legislation and standards. Ensure compliance of company’s departments, contractors and stakeholders with Safety and Health legislation and related internal company’s Policies and Procedures; Conduct Aviation Safety compliance audits and inspections as per legislation. Conduct Accident and Incident investigations and ensure proper follow-ups. Assist in the activation of an Emergency Response. Promote safety awareness and conducting relevant safety campaigns within the company. Administer safety related projects and programmes. Technical Skills and Experience A Degree or a National Diploma in Safety/Environmental Health Management Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience Experience in Construction regulations is advantageous Microsoft Office skills are essential. Working knowledge of ISO, OHSAS Construction Regulations under the OHS Act, and SHE contractor management will serve as an advantage. Code B Driver’s License. Competencies The ideal candidates should have excellent problem solving, time management and interpersonal skills.
