The asking price for the timeshare at Umhlanga Sands Holiday Resort is R12 500. It is a self catering Gold Crown resort. The registration fee is R1 660 to transfer the timeshare in your name and is payable by the buyer. The timeshare is a lifetime investment and will be carried into your estate when you pass away. The registration fee is included in the asking price. There is an annual levy that must be paid every year for the timeshare. The annual levy for 2017 is R6 070. It will be the responsibility of the buyer to pay the 2017 levy. Week 45 in 2017 runs from 11 - 18 November 2017. The 2017 levy will become payable 3 months before the start of week 45. The houses are fully equipped for self catering, fitted with linen and towels and will be serviced daily; just bring your food, drinks and toiletries. Fire wood for the fireplaces is provided.. Water's Edge House This house can accommodate 8 adults and 2 small children. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms: The main bedroom is en-suite and sleeps 2 adults and 2 small children. There is a sleeper couch in the living room; guests sleeping here use the guest bathroom with a shower. The other two bedrooms are down stairs, on the outside of the house and share a bathroom. It is ideal for use by accompanying friends or another family. No smoking is permitted in the house. Forest House This house can accommodate 10 people in 5 bedrooms, 2 of which are en-suite and there is a kitchen and dining area, lounge and deck overlooking the dam. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, stove and oven, and cutlery and crockery and an 8-seater dining table. For those chilly nights, the fireplace in the lounge can be lit to warm the house for a cosy night indoors.   What to do in the area? The Wood bush forest is the second largest indigenous forest in South Africa. There are numerous hiking trails in the area. Visit the local cheese farm and see how they make cheese and go for a walk through the small mountain village, Haenertsburg and browse the small shops – the local Kiwi preservatives is a must. Enjoy tea at the Magoebaskloof hotel or Pekoe View with their spectacular views. Have a picnic at the Debegeni waterfalls. There is an abundance of birdlife in the indigenous forest of Magoebaskloof. Guided birding and fly fishing trips around the area can be booked at the local tourist office in Haenertsburg. Horse riding, Kloofing/Canyoneering, Rock Climbing or Abseiling can be arranged through local guides. There are also lovely guided 4X4 trails in the Wolkberg mountains, where one can visit awesome waterfalls, large caves and have beautiful vistas.   What to do if it rains? Lie in front of the fireplace and enjoy the ambiance! Play games or read a book. Drive down the mountain to the Big Boabab Tree and Modjadji Cycad Forest.
