Amelia is now renamed Lady Amelia because now that we got to know her, she is nothing but a lady. Her foster mom says she uses the litter tray like a lady, eats like a lady and generally behaves like a lady. Amelia was visiting someone's garden frequently and when he realised she was pregnant, he took her to the CAMC. She was advertised for weeks to try and find her owner but unfortunately the few calls we got for her was from people who's missing cats were all sterilised. Amelia is now up for adoption. Di is a sweet little 9 week old girl that likes to sit on your lap and be cuddled. She likes purrrring loud and licking fingers when she is happy. She is not shy, but likes to play hide and seek - behind blankets and pillows and would peep to see if you are playing along. Di likes to run up and down with her toys, her favourite being anything that makes a little noise, like the Christmas decoration ball and the soft ball filled with seeds. PETPALS DESPERATE PLEA! This is an absolutely desperate plea to help us find Sailor and Ferdie a forever home. Sailor is a boy of just under a year old, he was rescued through PETPALS, and Ferdie is a girl of just over a year old, she was rescued through AWS, Helderberg. Both dogs are in foster care together, and have formed an extremely tight bond - they play, eat and sleep together. We therefore want to home them together, if possible. They are in a foster home with several other dogs, but they have chosen each other as soul mates for life. How sad if we had to separate them. They cannot stay in their foster home too much longer, and it will be heart wrenching to bring them back to a kennel environment after having spent several months in this amazing home. We beg you to share their plea and help us find them a home. A home with no small dogs, or young children would suit them well. Sailor and Ferdie have both been sterilised and their vaccinations are up to date. PETPALS has an adoption form to be completed/approved before adoption, and an adoption fee of R350. These sisters are up for adoption for a forever loving home and companion. They were found in Blikkiesdorp by a Tin Can Town Volunteer in mid September and have been fostered in two homes while recovering from mange and being de-wormed. To date they healthy and vaccinated after three vet visits - new owners will need to vaccinate them Nov 1st for their final puppy vac. Personalities: Brown one loves to explore, play and run with the big dogs. Would be a great family dog. White one is a cuddler, brave, good climber and enjoys attention. They've been exposed to beaches, rivers, small local parks, and socialised with other dogs. They know how to sit and are getting better at house-training. Interested new owners are welcome to visit the puppies in their foster home. If interest in one or both of the puppies, the Tin Can Town volunteer will then visit your home to confirm your adoption space is suitable for a medium-sized 20kg dog. Roux was picked up in the veld and brought to us in a box. We took him to the vet and sterilised him after testing. He is a shy boy but beautiful with the biggest eyes. He is a biscuit colour.
