Story of the 'Torrens' [1875-1910]- the last full-rigged composite passenger clipper ever launched, and of her owner/master, Captain Henry Robert Angel. To this is added an account of the author's steamship travels in convoy from Port Said to London, through the submarine-infested Mediterranean, during the Great War. Scarce and collectible.
