DATABASE DEVELOPER IN SOUTH AFRICA

We are seeking an expert database developer able to work with us to design, develop and deliver a database. Must be a high performer with clear ability to work fast, understand requirements, document the design, and develop an intuitive and clear front end able to support end users. • Set up database management and administration • Set up hosting and online database availability • Set up clean and well-designed graphical user interfaces • Set up back up and versioning infrastructure and processes • Create, edit, and delete all database objects such as tables, views, functions, scripts • Enable easy end user view and edit of table data • Enable easy view of table relations • Enable easy update of date via various form based perspectives • Enable easy import data and export data (CSV, PDF reports) • Enable easy management of end user and access privileges • Enable easy multi user access online access We are open to various DBMS (Database Management System), including MS Access , Navicat, or other robust and well trialled solutions. We are particularly open to software developers and data architects who can use Microsoft Access to develop application software, or "power users" able to build software applications. As such experience of the following would be useful: • MS Access • SharePoint web solutions • Office 365 and cloud based solutions • Visual Basic / VBA programming • Object-oriented programming • ActiveX Data Objects, and components We anticipate a design enabled through three releases, with a support contract required for minor enhancements going forward. Strong previous client references and a demo portfolio of previous work is essential.
