BAREFOOT HOOF TRIMMING/HOOF REHABILITATION IN SOUTH AFRICA

Barefoot hoof trimming and natural hoof care in/near the Stellenbosch area. I treat each horse as a case study (where and when possible/appropriate): tracking hoof-, body- and posture development. Diet and lifestyle are also looked at and taken into account. For horses new to trimming I recommend and offer a gentling/training session and evaluation before the first trim. (This is specialised barefoot trimming and I DO NOT SHOE horses/ponies/donkeys. I do, however, help equines transition from shod to barefoot. Basic price is R220 per trim, but distance/petrol and other factors will also make a difference, eg. number of horses, the condition of the hooves, or the longer the session takes (because the horse is green/untrained/difficult/dangerous, the higher the price will be). I only take clients who are prepared to follow a schedule of 4-6 weeks maximum between trims.)
