But Rayman 2 manages to pull off the amazing feat of actually being a great game, and although you've seen it all before you can't help but play on. Everything has a lovely sheen in this game. The graphics are great, and boast details that Disney would be proud of. Everybody from Rayman's best friend Globox to the weird and wonderful Teensies all have their part to play as you go on your journey offering plenty of light comedy moments and you can't help but laugh when they begin to talk in some nonsense language only for Rayman to shout "Yahoo" at the end of everything. We have already seen games like this many times before, but this one has such an appealing gloss that you end up with a game that is better to play and beats its competitors. For the un-initialised, Ultimate Fighting Championship is a no-holds-barred fighting game that sees two or more opponents in a wire cage beating each other up any way they choose. Kicking, punching, boxing, wrestling and martial arts are all accepted forms of battle. The gameplay reflects this, and apart from having a number of celebrity fighters from the real sport, allows you to make a hero of your own from scratch with its own fighting style. The gameplay itself is similar to the standard wrestling game, with the only difference being that the matches are a lot shorter. While this game doesn't amount to the best wrestling experience on Dreamcast, it is great fun and hearty fodder for after the pub. The graphics are good, and you get the chance to personally explore the White Tower, Shadar Logoth, the Fortress of the Forsaken and the Outpost of the Children of the Light--four locations that determine your success in the game. You will not be able to play as Rand, or fight Padon Fain, although there are some surprise appearances by certain characters! Unfortunately for Ubisoft, the game's publisher, this isn't the main aim of the game. Created from the same team that made Redline Racer for the PC, this game has the benefit of a licence from Suzuki, allowing the programmers to put in real bikes and riders rather than the nondescript ones that were seen in the original Redline Racer. The sound effects are also much improved. The aim of the game is to take control of a rider who wants to make the Suzuki Alstare motorbike team. To be accepted by them you must prove your worth by winning several races on several different bikes. The 12 challenging tracks and detailed race circuits in seven unique racing environments are moderate in their difficulty. However, once you begin to play, more challenging courses and options will appear. If your fancy practising before you compete to become the best then the game offers five different variations: Arcade, Pure Arcade, Against the Clock and Championship options. This is a mediocre racing simulation. If you are a biking fan then you'll probably love it, but if you are looking for a really exciting racing game Suzuki Alstare Extreme Racing just doesn't compare to the likes of V-Rally 2 - Expert Edition.-- Stuart Miles
