This set is complete with the original leather box.  All 8 volumes are in immaculate condition for age with no foxing to any of the pages. Spines are in perfect condition. All pages covered with gold leaf. All volumes are leather bound. Only wear is the original box with top and side cover lose as could be expected with a set 109 years old
