Very useful in cropping close-ups etc... You can scan your treasured slides directly onto your cameras media card, then to your pc's hard-drive. Can also scan negatives the same way, & can make prints straight from your media card or hard-drive etc... Extremely useful for head & shoulder shots only, zoomed in from a full shot, or where you only wish to have a specific point on the slide, concentrated on.
