ROGER LUCEY-THE ROAD IS MUCH LONGER (1979 DEBUT ALBUM BY IN SOUTH AFRICA
Roger`s 1979 politically charged debut album caused a lot of controversy back then leading to his decades long persecution by the Security Police. Released on 3rd Ear Records, catalog number 3EE 704 it includes the song "Lungile Tabalaza"which was banned by the government. This version has the song but with silent passages where the lyrics would have been - this was done in protest against the banning. Vinyl is in VG+ condition with some light surface scratches which do not affect the playing; the sleeve has some ring mark and scuffing around the edges but still in VG to VG+ condition. Sadly the inner lyric bag is missing.
