Made from Balau Hardwood: - Closed up it is a comfortable 6 - 8 seater (mm length x mm width) - Extended table top. A comfortable 8 -10 seater. (Table top length mm ((2.4 meters))   When "extended", it can accommodate a parasol through the holes provided in the tabletop and construction. The wood has a beautiful "rich"  "reddish" colour Balau is a hardwood, also used for outside decking and with the construction of ships. It is a VERY durable hardwood which can confidently be used outside. Like any other wood, it will need some "maintenance" from time to time if left in the harsh SA sun for prolonged periods of time. Best way to look after your quality product is to "treat" it from time to time with an approved OUTDOOR furniture oil.
