(25 to 35yrs) The farm focus is on mixed perennial pastures under pivot. cross-bred Cows are milked through a 60 bail rotary dairy, with new Alpro management system. Farm has a strong team and good systems in place. Benchmarking through 4th Quadrant The manager will be responsible for; · All aspects of feeding and milking, as well as breeding and cow health. Stock handling experience is important. · Pasture management and fodder production planning. Appropriate tertiary education will be an advantage. · All computer records on Alpro and spreadsheets. Owner always available for assistance. · Budgeting and achieving targets, in conjunction with owner and consultant. · Managing and motivating staff, Zulu will be an advantage.
