Cat Counsellor - How Your Cat Really Relates to You by Vicky Hall If cats were asked how they would truly like their owners to show affection, what would they say? Are we giving them what they want? Is just loving them ever going to be enough? Can we love them too much? Vicky Halls, author of the bestselling CAT CONFIDENTIAL, has devoted her life to studying the human/feline relationship. In CAT COUNSELLOR she explores the origins of this emotional bond and shows how miraculous results can be achieved by merely changing the way we relate to our cats. CAT COUNSELLOR is packed with fascinating case studies and tips on every aspect of cat relationships, including those with all things furred and feathered. It also includes the fascinating results of the relationship survey, giving cat owners from all over the world the chance to share their feelings about their feline companions. If you have ever wondered why you love your cat so much, then this is the book for you!

Book still in a good used condition.  >>>   Ange wrote " The 13th in the series is a lucky one for James Qwilleran.  Having fulfilled his 5 years living in Pickax as required by the will, he is now the sole and rightful heir in full possession of the billion dollar Klingenschoen fortune, and free to go wherever he wants.  Now he has a decision to make – what’s next?  Does he stay on in Moose County?  Move back to a big city?  Buy a newspaper?  Write a book?    Jim has recently heard about the unspoiled beauty of the Big Potato mountains, and he feels that this would be a perfect destination to get away from it all and think about his future. He loads Koko and YumYum and the infamous “turkey roaster that serves as their commode” into his clunker car and off they go to the Tiptop Inn, the only place he can find that will allow cats. He’s not renting a room, he’s renting the entire inn, which is empty and for sale. Koko begins acting strangely as soon as they move in and it turns out – surprise – that the inn was the site of a murder. Qwill soon suspects that the wrong man was convicted of the crime." ·         *N.B.*   If you buy more than one book from me on the same day you only pay R 6 extra postage for each of the additional books -   See what else I have to offer, it might just be worth your while.

There's also Felicia Day - violinist, filmmaker, Internet entrepreneur, compulsive gamer and former lonely homeschooled girl who overcame her isolated childhood to become the ruler of a new world... or at least semi-influential in the world of Internet geeks and Goodreads book clubs. After growing up in the south where she was 'homeschooled for hippie reasons', Felicia moved to Hollywood to pursue her dream of becoming an actress and was immediately typecast as a crazy cat-lady secretary. But Felicia's misadventures in Hollywood led her to produce her own web series, own her own production company and become an Internet star.Felicia's short-ish life and her rags-to-riches rise to Internet fame launched her career as one of the most influential creators in new media. Now, Felicia's strange world is filled with thoughts on creativity, video games, and a dash of mild feminist activism - just like her memoir.Hilarious and inspirational, You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) is proof that everyone should embrace what makes them different and be brave enough to share it with the world, because anything is possible now - even for a digital misfit. I sell used books BUT got a few of these brand new from someone who bought them by the box-full to hand out to everyone he met - Bloody weird friends I have.  >>>    I loved this book!    It turned out to be one of those easy-to-read stories that leave you thinking, and thinking, and thinking. The science fiction aspect of the plot is not important at all. It is the impact of power, knowledge and ritual on every single individual that made me want to restart reading it as soon as I finished. I absolutely adore the creation of Bokononism and the development of a new language to suit the needs of the religion-in-the-making.   Margaret Atwood's  MaddAddam  experiments with the same kind of post-apocalyptic scenario and the never-ending question of what humanity needs to survive. Of course Vonnegut's vision is a lot darker than Atwood's. Humanity wiped out completely on a whim, no hope of reproducing our species at all, the only question remaining is how to die and what symbol to carry in your hand to show the hated - and hating - creator above.   The experience of being trapped in Dresden as an American prisoner of war during the bombing and destruction of the city might have formed the sense of absurdity that Vonnegut displays in his vision of mankind.   To put it in Bokononist words: the cruel paradox of the heartbreaking necessity of lying about reality combined with the heartbreaking impossibility of lying about it is at the center of the book.  Foma!     *N.B.*   If you buy more than one book from me on the same day you only pay R 6 extra postage for each of the additional books - See what else I have to offer, it might just be worth your while.
