A successful family-owned engineering sales company (electric motors & alternators) based in Edenvale has a vacancy for a Sales representative. The successful applicant will have good previous experience of engineering sales and repairs which would be advantageous. Salary: Uncapped Commission + Car Allowance Qualifications: Fluency in English/Afrikaans essential, (speak and write). Preferable a minimum of two years experience in technical sales with a proven track record. Must be able to do cold calling. Must have excellent closing skills. Demonstrate excellent customer service and retention skills. Must have high self confidence level and be able to work off own initiative Must be willing to travel & have a reliable vehicle   Requirements: Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts. Manage, support and grow the dealer network. Submits accurate orders by referring to price lists and product literature. Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales Establish customers' needs and explain and demonstrate products to them, which may involve providing technical descriptions of products and how they may be used Report to employers on sales and provide feedback about the marketing of new or established products Attend promotional markets and organize product displays       Please note if you have not been contacted within 14 days your application was not successful
