SEE BELOW - THE FIRST 3 SPECIAL POST OFFICE EXHIBITION POSTCARDS WERE ALMOST IDENTICAL, NUMBERED AS FOLLOWS: 1. NO LETTERS OR NUMBERING IN THE TOP LEFT-HAND CORNER 2. THE SECOND IS NUMBERED PBY 14 3. THE THIRD IS NUMBERED PBY 14A (THIS IS WHAT IS ON OFFER HERE) REFER TO THE LAST SENTENCE IN THE EXTRACT IMMEDIATELY ABOVE. THE REMAINDERS OF THE POSTCARDS NUMBERED PBY 14A WERE USED AT THE WINDHOEK EXHIBITION IN 1937. HERE YOU HAVE A SET OF 3, ONE IN EACH OFFICIAL LANGUAGE (AFRIKAANS, GERMAN AND ENGLISH). THE ENGLISH POSTCARD IS SPECIAL. IT IS ADDRESSED TO "L A WYNDHAM, HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT, CAPE TOWN." IT IS POSTMARKED WITH THE HOUSE OF PARLIAMENT CANCELLATION ON 17 MAY 1937.

 Please note there are  some "corrugated" folds - top fold only on 1 stamp so my guess is that this could have been made during printing but I could be wrong. Not an expert. 3d - both stamps -  Ovpt shifted towards the middle and upwards. 2015  CV R1000.00.  Please note there are a few small variations - 1d - both stamps -  Black dots and lines on top part of both stamps.  A faint white mark on the "H" and bottom of "A" of South Africa on right stamp. Red line - left stamp - bottom left corner just below the wagon. Here we have on auction a rarely seen available for sale current issue Mozambique Police (PRM) rice pattern camo long-sleeve shirt in good used condition AND in a X- LARGE size! This l/s shirt is approx a size X-L (fits me and I normally wear XL shirts - 44 inch chest) and is marked in the local size scale as a "size 9". The picture below shows a member of the Mozambique PRM police wearing the same rice pattern camo as is on auction here; Many Southern African nations adopted the rice pattern camo (East German/ Chinese origin and/ or copy) for use by their militaries/ police forces (Zambia and Moz still currently use this patt for police)/ para-military forces and the pattern was also extensively used by insurgents and terrorist groups throughout Southern Africa eg. ZIPRA/ ZANLA in Rhodesia, SWAPO/ PLAN in Angola/ SWA etc.  and subsequently the SA Special Forces (Recces) also made their own copy camo and psuedo uniforms in the pattern! Please see the pics for further detail and as a confirmation of the item and its condition as on auction. Please see the "INUPOL" label and size tag - which reads "size 9" (approx XL). and; These uniforms are extremely difficult to source and finding one in a X-large size is even MORE difficult! Here we have on auction a REPRODUCTION new build Cuban Elm-leaf (Cuban) camo "kiko" camo cap (sewn from old stocks of Recce copy camo obtained with great effort and only available in small quantities). This kiko cap is one-size-fits-all and will easily fit someone with a hat size 57/58/59. The "kiko" camo cap was a favourite of the Portuguese and Insurgent (and other Freedom Fighters/ groups in the old Porra colonies of Angola and Mozambique) and was often encontered/ found during the SWA/ Angola bushwar period. These REPRO camo kiko caps are intended to be a comfortable everyday wear item, fold one up and keep handy in a side cargo pocket for "just-in-case"!  The single pic below shows other REPRO kikos available (on other simultanious BoB auctions) and serves as a comparison showing some of the bushwar popular camo patterns employed by the enemy (and copied by SA Special Forces/ Recces and other units eg. 32 Bn recce wing); Top -to-bottom - Libyan Rhubarb, FAPLA (Cuban) grey lizzard, East German (DDR) rice pattern/ falling rain, French llizzard (camo favoured by UNITA), Cuban (SF) elm leaf camo; Basically a handy, comfortable lekke camo cap! (I wear one almost daily and often wear it with the tail folded away until needed).
