Mark 1 Surfski for sale. Good condition. Please read review: Our main objective with the entry into the surfski market with the MARK 1 open ocean surfski, was to provided a competitive surfski at the highest level, maintaining a degree of stability, comfort and user friendliness for all levels of paddling. I chose the same design of surfski that I used in the Molokai Ski Race in Hawaii. Despite the high standard of racing I needed a stable ski for the rough Island-to-Island sea conditions. The MARK 1 design proved to be very successful. It is currently one of the most popular surfski’s in South Africa and is in use in 7 different countries around the World.  A hatch and compartment in front of your feet that can hold a 3 litre drinking system inside the ski, enabling you to drink while paddling. Drain holes in the foot wells to syphen water out of the cockpit while paddling. An optional extra is an adjustable size cockpit (see photograph). Ski’s manufactured in 10 sizes using your inside leg measurement (from your crotch to the floor when standing upright, bare feet.) Length: 6.4m, Width:46cm, average weight in a fibreglass sandwich construction: kgs. Also available in lighter kevlar and carbon fibre construction on request. 

Excellent condition Dorado double surfski.  This boat will be close to Knysna from the 7th of DECEMBER! This is a really great boat for someone looking to enjoy a steady and responsive boat on the ocean or in a wave. AND, it is also light enough and fast enough for any semi-pro to enjoy as well. Excellent condition. Rotomolded plastic which can take the knocks and bumps without drama. Has adaption to fit kayak rudder in place of current surfski fin, so can be used in rivers as well as open ocean. Bungies for water bottles and bungies for sundry stuff. Soft hatch cover for access to internal storage for river expeditions. Very user-friendly bailer and easy adjustable footplates. I've used it extensively in gentle paddling to explore coastlines, paddled around Cape Point, played in large coastal surf conditions and done exciting Millers downwind runs. Great fun all round. Reason for selling: I need to upgrade to longer ski to be more competitive as this won't win any ski races.
