Please read review: Our main objective with the entry into the surfski market with the MARK 1 open ocean surfski, was to provided a competitive surfski at the highest level, maintaining a degree of stability, comfort and user friendliness for all levels of paddling. I chose the same design of surfski that I used in the Molokai Ski Race in Hawaii. Despite the high standard of racing I needed a stable ski for the rough Island-to-Island sea conditions. The MARK 1 design proved to be very successful. It is currently one of the most popular surfski’s in South Africa and is in use in 7 different countries around the World.  A hatch and compartment in front of your feet that can hold a 3 litre drinking system inside the ski, enabling you to drink while paddling. Drain holes in the foot wells to syphen water out of the cockpit while paddling. An optional extra is an adjustable size cockpit (see photograph). Ski’s manufactured in 10 sizes using your inside leg measurement (from your crotch to the floor when standing upright, bare feet.) Length: 6.4m, Width:46cm, average weight in a fibreglass sandwich construction: kgs. Also available in lighter kevlar and carbon fibre construction on request.

Im selling my Knysna racing Kayak, unused as I have a different requirement. No paddles, no leaks, has some scratches.

Title basically says it all Made by custom kayaks Titan sprint SLASA (Surf Lifesaving Association of South Africa) Approved Typically used for cans racing in surf lifesaving, also alot of fun on big downwinds or in the surf. Can be used for recreational paddles to, cruising around a dam, or ocean or whatever you want to do. All white Good condition, some small knicks in the gelcoat, nothing major. Duct tape on nose is just as a bit of a bumper guard, from other surfskis during surf racing. I could throw in a Carbon Fibre Ridgeback paddle as well.
