Probably late 60s German S*R INTERNATIONAL re-issue pressing, release number HI-FI 72752 / ST PL 72753, of album by BELINA, Gesang & SIEGFRIED BEHREND, Gitarre: Belina - Behrend. The track details are as shown on the images provided. The record has a few extremely faint and barely visible, ineffective sleeve-scratches, is in a hardly played, excellent plus condition. The cover has very slightly scuffed corners, plus some ring-wear, otherwise in a very good plus shape. EX+ / VG+

But this is Depression-era South Africa and no one is interested in buying boeremusiek. When Danie meets the attractive Dorothy and a BBC correspondent on the same day, he believes his luck has changed.He marries Dorothy and they are blissfully happy at first, but poverty drives a wedge between them. Danie sells his beloved piano to buy their baby a cot, and decides to give up his dreams of becoming a composer. One day, however, someone hears him singing a song he composed for his son. The song is Boerseun, destined to become one of the biggest hits ever in the Afrikaans community. Danie´s dreams are fulfilled, and he embarks on his true vocation."

Fritz Lang's 5-hour epic 'Die Nibelungen' of 1924. Newly restored version. The saga of the Nibelungs was also the source for Wagner's 'Ring' cycle of operas. The hero Siegfried is almost invincible after bathing in dragon's blood but his marriage into the Nibelungs' clan is soon destroyed. His widow plots a bitter revenge.    

Like New condition Jean-Christophe Maillot has re-worked Swan Lake with the writer Jean Rouaud (1990 Prix Goncourt winner) to bring a new drama to this pillar of the classic repertoire.  This new adaptation, filmed in a special studio-setting at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, brings a modern-day relevance to the timeless story of Siegfried and Odette.  Designed by leading visual artist Ernest Pignon-Ernest, with costumes by Philippe Guillotel, and performed to a specially conceived and mastered soundtrack of Tchaikovsky's score performed by the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, directed by Leonard Slatkin, the production has been hailed as ‘outstanding’ (Le Figaro), while the Jerusalem Post asserted ‘Swan Lake will never be the same after the tempestuous Lac’.  This film of Lac won the top award at the 2103 Golden Prague, as ‘Best Performing Arts Program’, where it was described as ‘A ravishing stage production offering the spectator a thrilling interpretation of Tchaikovsky's masterpiece through contemporary dance.
