Here we have on auction a used BUT great condition Recce (SA Special Forces) SADF era copy camo long sleeved shrt in copy Tanzanian DPM tropical lightweight camo fabric - copy camo cloth and style (cut/ sewn) in a SADF style/ pattern. This is a great summer shirt with pockets on both sleeves for a FFD and small note-book or compass etc. This l/s shirt is still intact, no damage and the colours are still bright and vibrant and as a MEDIUM size ideal for display purposes as an exmaple of the Recce copy camo programme - which mimic'd the small details of enemy uniforms - even down to the buttons used and cloth weight! Here on auction we have a rather scarce olive green SA SF (Recce) urban helmet cover (ONLY the cover on auction!!!) in good used condition (note the tear to one tab - see pic) - no damage to the actual olive green cloth cover itself. the type seen marked here - Here we see a more common "grey" (urban helmet) type cover (with US MS2000 strobe in rear pouch) worn by SA SF "Recce" troops in Burundi, whilst on a peace-keeping mission (SAPSD) there circa 2001. Here we have on auction an authentic Recce used RECTA marching compass hand-camo'ed and from a lot of SA SF used gear that I got in earlier. Please see the pics for further detail and as a confirmation of the item and its condition as on auction. PLEASE NOTE - the compass is still reasonably accurate/ working (shows north and the needle moves) BUT that the main housing is cracked and thus should be considered as more of a display piece and not for field-use henceforth. Reconnaissance Regiment beret badge (Bullion wire type). VERY SCARCE. Difficult to find.......... Original. Bullion wire on maroon felt. This specific badge type is the UK manufactured badge that was supplied to SA Special Forces members. These badges were once-off issue. This specific badge type is the real thing and the only type that was "officially" supplied to the regiments. All other pre 1993 bullion wire types were privately made up by individuals. However, genuine bullion wire badge will slightly differ in stitch, because each badge were separately hand-stitched. But at the end, they will all have the same overall look.
