Reconnaissance Regiment beret badge (Bullion wire type). VERY SCARCE. Difficult to find.......... Original. Bullion wire on maroon felt. This specific badge type is the UK manufactured badge that was supplied to SA Special Forces members. These badges were once-off issue. This specific badge type is the real thing and the only type that was "officially" supplied to the regiments. All other pre 1993 bullion wire types were privately made up by individuals. However, genuine bullion wire badge will slightly differ in stitch, because each badge were separately hand-stitched. But at the end, they will all have the same overall look.
