It the Baconfest done right!  On Saturday the 29th November The South African Baconfest celebrates the love of bacon at La Bottega Restaurant at Buchanan square 160 Sir Lowry Rd, Woodstock in Cape Town. The event is divided into two sittings, afternoon and evening, where you can pig out to your heart’s content, on all dishes presented including 2 x 500ml Boston Lager Draught beer for the price of R250 a ticket. On the main menu are the following bacon inspired dishes carefully prepared by our chefs at the new 11 Kitchen venue which is situated in Woodstock: Chicken twizzlers wrapped in bacon, Beef twizzlers wrapped in bacon, Baby potatoes wrapped in bacon on a skewer, Mealies wrapped in bacon on a stick, Candy bacon on a stick, Bacon chilli poppers, Mini bacon and peppadew pizzas, Pigs in a bacon blanket, Chicken drumsticks wrapped in bacon, crackling and bacon popcorn. There is a full bar available, as well as the entire beer range on tap from Boston Breweries. Win a case of Boston Breweries Craft beer! All you need to do to enter is to purchase a ticket from Webtickets, ‘like’ the Boston Breweries Facebook page; it’s that easy. The winners name will be drawn from a hat after the Baconfest, and if you are that lucky person a case will be delivered to your door the following week!
