A darker heroic fantasy universe for the popular Might and Magic franchise, with six unique factions and more than 80 different creatures. The game features a deep, scalable turn-based battle system for challenging tactical combat as well as the option of a brand new Active Battle System for faster play. Players can choose from more than 200 skills, 170 creature abilities and 40 spells to build up heroes and armies. The storyline features special objectives, side quests and exciting plot twists for the finest tactics, management and role-playing adventure ever brewed. Heroes of Might and Magic V also introduce the new exclusive Duel mode: challenge your opponent in fierce battles where only the slyest shall prevail. Clash of Heroes is a puzzle RPG in the Might and Magic franchise. Utilizing an innovative and dynamic combat system based on puzzle mechanics, players explore highly detailed maps full of knights, elves, wizards, necromancers and demons and interact with a unique hand-drawn environment. You can have up to seven types of creatures serving under a hero, with seven unique creatures available in each of the eight castles. The single-player game spans six campaigns detailing the war to claim the Kingdom of Erathia from the perspective of good, evil and mercenary leaders alike. And if you can finish the campaigns, you still have dozens of single-player maps to try, with the promise of many more to come thanks to the map editor included with the game. Heroes of Might and Magic III doesn't alter the formula much, but represents a refinement and improvement on a par with the finest sequels ever released. The promise of much more of everything--heroes, castles, creatures, artefacts, skills, spells--is gracefully accomplished so as to accentuate the game's complexity, style and strategy without making it feel excessive. Heroes of Might and Magic: Quest for the DragonBone Staff is really the old classic King’s Bounty from New World Computing for the PC with revamped graphics. Very little else has changed, in fact even the text was the exact same with the original. For those who are not familiar with the history of the series, King’s Bounty was a spin-off of the Might & Magic RPG series which was then still in its early chapters and was inspired by board games. The gameplay resembles a simplified Heroes of Might & Magic game with only one Hero and no city improvements. Combat is turn-based using a set grid and stacked units. The goal of the game is to discover an ancient artifact by collecting pieces of a map and identifying its location before time runs out.
