Benriner Japanese Mandolin - Jumbo Using a mandoline is an efficient way of slicing vegetables and can save hours of your precious time whilst enhancing the presentation of your food and this budget mandolin slicer by Benriner is excellent for preparing vegetables for salads and garnishes. With an adjustable thickness control from 0.3mm to 8mm, you can produce ultra-thin slices for dauphinoise, gratin and rostis or thicker slices for making chunky coleslaw. This Jumbo version has a wider 115mm platform than the standard Benriner Mandoline Slicer which allows for slicing of bigger produce like large onions.
