Jimmy Doolittle, was a World War II aviator hero. He served as an officer in the United States Army Air Forces during the Second World War. He was a brigadier general, major general and lieutenant general in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. He was later honored with the Medal of Honor for his valor. Photograph shows Doolittle in uniform, the half frontal view, The photograph, B/W, 8"x10", is inscribed and signed with a fine black ballpoint, well pressed, and placed in the top right hand corner of the photo: "To....: With sincere best wishes. J.H.Doolittle". The item is in superb condition.
