Jimmy Doolittle, was a World War II aviator hero. He served as an officer in the United States Army Air Forces during the Second World War. He was a brigadier general, major general and lieutenant general in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. He was later honored with the Medal of Honor for his valor.
