Key Responsibilities: Act as the Engineers Representative on site. Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant standards. Coordinate and supervise the contractors work, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental guidelines. Manage site instructions, technical queries, and progress reporting. Attend regular site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Ensure accurate record-keeping and quality control documentation. Assist in resolving technical issues and provide engineering support on-site. Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. Registered as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) with ECSA Essential. Minimum of 10 years relevant experience, with a strong focus on road construction and rehabilitation. Proven experience in managing site teams and large-scale infrastructure projects. Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software The ability to work with multiple disciplines of projects Minimum 5+ years of experience related to solar PV, CHP, battery energy storage, wind, and green hydrogen. Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards and best practices. I.e. IEC, KEBS or SANS Experience living and working in Africa (ideally 1-2 years minimum). Qualification: B.Eng, BSc.
