In fact, the game will, rather like Ridge Racer, be a sort of "best of" compilation of features from all the previous Burnout games, including tracks from Burnout 1, 2 and 3. A total of nine gameplay modes are promised, including the infamous Crash, Pursuit, Burning Lap, Road Rage, Eliminator, Race, Time Attack, Legends Face-Off and Legends GP. Four of these (Race, Crash, Pursuit and Road Rage) can be played in wireless multiplayer mode with up to four people. One other interesting element is that each game will ship with five cars out of a random selection of twenty-five -- with the other twenty only being unlocked as you play opponents in multiplayer.
