The friendship and trust that develops rapidly between a 17-year-old homeless boy and a young mother with two children is the basis for Andre Techines Strayed. They find each other during a terrifying WWII bombing as they are escaping Paris for the countryside. Yvan is a recluse hiding in the woods. Odile is a widow trying to get her children to safety. Together, the group finds a magical abandoned chateau hidden far back in the forest, and they take shelter there. Settling into a nearly idyllic secret existence as the rest of the world endures the hardships of war; their situation is fairly surreal. Yvan is resourceful and self-sufficient, instantly taking on the role of the man in the family. He hunts for rabbits, delights the children with his youthfulness and curiosity, and even ignites a romantic spark in Odile. But there is always a sense of urgency and doubt, as if the temporary paradise theyve stumbled upon will come to a rapid halt and fall into the shadows of some looming dark event. Triple bill of the vampire horror film series. In 'The Lost Boys' (1987), two brothers move to a new town and soon fall in with the wrong crowd - a gang of punks who also happen to be blood-swilling vampires. The older brother (Jason Patric) proves easy prey and is soon a fully paid-up member of the undead. But the younger brother (Corey Haim) is made of tougher stuff and, along with a couple of friends, decides to make a stand. Pretty soon the suburbs start swinging to the sound of teen vampire combat. In 'The Lost Boys - The Tribe' (2008), a young girl named Nicole (Autumn Reeser) falls in with a pack of vampire surfers after moving to California with her brother Chris (Tad Hilgenbrink). Seduced by the leader of the gang, Autumn soon realises that there are forces in nature that could destroy everything she has ever cared for. 'The Lost Boys - The Thirst' (2010), sees Corey Feldman reprise his role as Edgar Frog, a down and out vampire hunter who is asked by writer Gwen Lieber (Tanit Phoenix) to rescue her son from a newborn army. Gwen offers to pay Edgar a substantial fee for his services and he agrees to take on the dangerous mission. Realising the risks involved, Edgar asks his brother, Alan (Jamison Newlander), to assist him.    

Colin Farrell, Russell Crowe and Jessica Brown Findlay star in this romantic drama adapted from the 1983 novel by Mark Helprin. Set in Manhattan in 1916, the film follows thief Peter Lake (Farrell) who meets Beverly Penn (Brown Findlay), a young woman he is about to rob. Instead, he begins to talk to her and they soon fall in love but he later discovers that she is terminally ill. Meanwhile, Peter is being pursued by his old boss, ruthless gangster Pearly Soames (Crowe), to whom he owes a debt, but he is saved by a white horse and finds himself transported into the future. Suffering from amnesia, Peter encounters Virginia Gamely (Jennifer Connelly) who helps him to recall his past and, driven by his love for Beverly, he tries to find a way to bring her back to life.
