THE THIRD IS NUMBERED PBY 14A (THIS IS WHAT IS ON OFFER HERE) REFER TO THE LAST SENTENCE IN THE EXTRACT IMMEDIATELY ABOVE. THE REMAINDERS OF THE POSTCARDS NUMBERED PBY 14A WERE USED AT THE WINDHOEK EXHIBITION IN 1937. HERE YOU HAVE A SET OF 3, ONE IN EACH OFFICIAL LANGUAGE (AFRIKAANS, GERMAN AND ENGLISH). THE ENGLISH POSTCARD IS SPECIAL. IT IS ADDRESSED TO "L A WYNDHAM, HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT, CAPE TOWN." IT IS POSTMARKED WITH THE HOUSE OF PARLIAMENT CANCELLATION ON 17 MAY 1937.

1885 South African Exhibition, Port Elizabeth silver medal awarded to D. Isaacs & Co. Sterling Silver Diameter: 49mm Weight: 54.8g The Exhibition in PE was of South African arts, raw materials and products, was a preliminary to the Colonial and Indian Exhibition in London in 1886, to which the best exhibits were to be sent. It was opened by the Governor of the Cape Colony, Sir Hercules Robinson, on 10th December 1885, and closed in January 1886.

South African International Exhibition Medallion, Kimberley The medallion was issued with the opening of the international exhibition in Kimberley on 8th September 1892. The exhibition was opened by Sir Henry Loch who was Governor of the Cape Colony. The medallion is 29 mm in diameter and is made from nickel. It has been holed and much of the detail is gone from wear. Please see photos. Shipping within South Africa: R50 for normal mail.
