Please note that this is a fixed-term contract, the duration depends on project-related requirements. OVERVIEW S4 is looking for an electrician / millwright to work on installation projects. Previous experience in industrial automation projects and the ability to read E-Plan drawings will enable you to excel in the role. DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES Basic electrical design on site Ordering of installation hardware Install electrical and electronic systems to meet applicable standards and codes Test and inspect systems upon completion of installations to assure quality and proper operation Provide continuous support to clients including being available for call outs as required Analyze drawings for the purpose of determining the efficient installation of new systems Coordinates with senior technician and/or other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently Diagnose causes of problems or failures for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or system repair REQUIREMENTS

At least 3 years supervisory experience. Proven ability to manage Engineering resources at plant level and actively  engage  with Production and other service departments to ensure quality is not compromised and maximum production output is achieved. Proven  ability  to  analyse,  problem-solve  and  take  decisive corrective action. Dynamic and outcome oriented. Conversant with AC and DC motors and drives, gearboxes and Utility Services Conversant  with  fault  finding on control systems, PLCs, and PC systems. Good   working   knowledge   of   pneumatics,   hydraulics   and instrumentation systems. The incumbent will be responsible for inter alia the following:  Manage a team of qualified technicians and artisans plant wide.  Proactively monitor and manage breakdowns and machine maintenance improvements within the plant.  Ensure  maximum  equipment availability by managing the efficient delivery of engineering services.  Ensure  machine  reliability by short and long term evaluation of services and process data.  Assist  production  to achieve the required quality, quantity and cost targets.  Ensure   adherence   to   all  health,  safety  and  environment requirements.  Plan  and organise & manage resources, including budget, manpower and ordering spares.  Manage projects and planned maintenance.  Handle day to day supervision issues, i.e. leave, discipline etc.

Bricklaying Instructors (2), Electrical Instructors (6), Carpentry Instructors (3), Welding Instructor (2), Fitting Instructor (1), Instrumentation (1), Plumbing (4) JOB DESCRIPTION  To develop appropriate training course materials in the relevant disciplines as per CETA requirements.  Facilitate and train Apprentices/Trainees up to a Trade Test level.  Brush up training for Apprentices/Trainees up to a Trade Test level.  Develop the training facility – Assist, maintain, mentor and coach junior instructors.  Develop the training facility – Assist, maintain, mentor and coach junior instructors.  Making assessment decisions, giving positive and constructive feedback and completing any documentation (review assessment)  Assist in development/design of Training Facilities for National Standard  Ensure that log book have proper records of training and are signed weekly by the instructor  Ensure that POES files is up to date  Set up assessment material  Perform any other tasks pertaining to training dedicated by superior. Minimum Requirements: - • Minimum Qualification N4 or equivalent. • Trade tested in the specific trade. • Minimum practical experience must be 3 years. • Preferable with practical Training and facilitating experience. • Assessor, Facilitator and Moderator will be added as an advantage.
