Our HOUT BAY family clients have 3 children of 9 and 7 years (girls) and a 5 year old boy. Mom seeks an au pair to work with the family to handle 1 to 2 children at a time while she does the other as there are 2 schools involved in different parts of town finishing at different times. The days required are definitely Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from pm to 6.30pm and perhaps one other day - a Monday or a Friday.Collect from school either in the City bowl or in Rondebosch and take them home to Hout Bay. mom will bring the other/s home. Then its lifts to extra murals in the Hout Bay area as well as arranging and supervising play-dates with friends etc. Supervise homework. Also spend quality time with them doing fun educational and creative activities or arrange an outing even down to the beach etcIt would be fantastic if the au pair cooked healthy meals for the children's dinner on some days. Assist in feeding them and chatting around the table whilst they eat.
