The Red Door is a lovely self-catering cottage, situated in a small town of Memel, in the north eastern reaches of the Drakensberg, Free State. Perfect for friends or family wanting a tranquil breakaway near to nature's attractions. This cottage offers all the comforts of home, and comprises two bedrooms; with a queen-size bed in the main bedroom and two single beds in the other, which can be moved together. One bathroom with separate shower and bath, is shared between the two rooms, and the accommodation also has a fully equipped kitchen with an old wood fireplace and dining area. A lovely spacious lounge area is located in the middle of the house, where friends or families can relax after having meals. For those days where one does not feel like cooking, The Red Door has a large undercover patio with braai facilities to enjoy, or be amazed while star-gazing while staying at the cottage during your stay. In the small town, you can visit the Memel Museum - a quaint collection of Anglo/Boer War and old time memorabilia - or Daisy's with its collection of Dubai and Bali imports.
