This is a teaching Head of School for a current 0-6 school set in a beautiful conservation lodge within the Kalahari. This role will include converting the existing main stream school into a Montessori environment teaching in the 3-6 classroom and managing all teaching related matters.The majority of the lodges employees speak Tswana and are from local communities in the Northern Cape. 13 children but this school will grow significantly in the future.Starting in January we require a male or female with a recognized 3-6 year Montessori diploma,3-6 years teaching in Montessori education,and registered with SACE,and ability to work with a small staff complement and be a hands on member of the team. Free accommodation inc water and lights, free medical care at the day clinic,and pension fund. Staff could also use if available a free flight to JHB or CTown around once per month if he or she resides there.
