I have a collection of good quality, hand-crafted porcelain dolls and some Alberon Collectors dolls. The dolls are dressed in hand-sewn clothes and shoes with realistic eyes and good-quality hair pieces. I have been collecting for a number of years and no longer have the space to store them. I am looking to sell the dolls for between R150 - R350/doll depending on size, collection, if it is solid porcelain or material body and the number of dolls purchased.

A lovely little fawn porcelain figurine. It was made by Hutschenreuther, one of Germany's best porcelain producers, which means it is one of the world's best. The fawn comes from their Kunstobteilung collection. The attention to detail is typically German, amazing. The hand painted figurine is quite rare, there was not another one like this available in South Africa on the net at the time when I did my research on it. I did manage to find two in Europe. Ask about postage and courier.

CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN PRUNUS VASE 19th CENTURY A very attractive vase, with white Prunus and hawthorn on a vibrant cobalt blue, cracked ice background. An unusual feature is the mirror image of the blossoms, as opposed to an identical image. The base shows a double circle (under glaze) which is indicative of the Kangxi period.  However I believe this vase to be from the 19th century, when vases were copied to show appreciation for the Kangxi period.  The small black marks on the inside of the vase are consistent with iron residue from the clay moving slowly across the surface of the ceramic over a long period of time. Height: 30cms Circumference: 34cms Weight: 444 grams A nice addition to a blue and white collection, this vase is a very good example of Chinese porcelain and in very good condition for its age, has no chips, scratches or marking
