The 7 - 12cm fruits are hot!  Gradually ripen from green to a deep chocolate brown, with lots of intermediate shades in the process-very pretty in the late-season garden! A great seasoning- or drying type. This is a hot pepper/chilli, but not excessively hot.  30 000 to 50 000 on the Scoville Scale.    VIEW OUR OTHER ITEMS BY CLICKING ON THE SHIELD:

HABANERO SEEDS – CHOCOLATE HABANERO Chocolate Habanero, also known as brown or black Habanero or Congo Black, has little to do with the sweet treat we associate chocolate with, save for the rich colour of its skin. This variety is from the Caribbean one of hottest and largest of the Habanero family. It is popular in local cuisine, used in chutneys, sauces and marinades and mixes especially well with fruit in salsas. It has a unique rich, smoky flavour unlike any other chilli pepper. It packs a punch far spicier than regular Habanero, with Scoville units in each pepper. View our other items by clicking on the shield:
