The Bodum Kenya coffee press is a great combination of tradition and modernity. Through this traditional brew method, you will extract the most essential oils of your freshly ground coffee, while leaving the least sediment in your cup (provided your grind setting is correct). Simply add ground coffee, pour in hot (tempered) water, stir, place the lid on without depressing the plunger, wait 4 minutes and then by gently depressing the plunger you stop the brewing process. (As with all brew methods, the ground coffee to water ratio is strongly dictated by your strength preference, but the general rule of thumb is 10g per 170ml) The plastic handle and the base will protect the user and any surface from hurt or damage from the heat.
