NIGHT AUDITOR SALARY R – R plus Night Allowance and benefits GREEN POINT One of the top Five Star Hotels in Cape is seeking to employ a Night Auditor and must have experience within the hospitality Industry Essential Requirements Minimum Std. 10 (Grade 12) Front Office/Accounting experience preferable At least 1 years’ experience in a 4* or 5 * Front Office position of Receptionist, Night Auditor Opera knowledge: Front Office, Reservations, Cashiering & Reporting – essential Previous Auditing Experience an advantage Computer Literate – Windows and experience in Word and Excel essential Excellent Communication and Guest Relations Key Areas of Responsibility Responsible for the auditing of all revenue generating departments on a daily basis. System maintenance, back-ups and running of the EOD (End of day) Late check-ins and early check-outs as per Hotel policy and procedures and to deal with any special needs or requests a guest may have during his stay. All the above responsibilities are executed during a night shift: 22H30 to 07H00 Will be required to attend daily morning meeting in the absence of the Night Manager. SALARY: R to RCTC p/a   Requirements: Certified Internal Auditor certification or Chartered Accountant; Completed articles with an audit firm At least 8 - 10 years’ experience in Internal Auditing Experience in auditing projects CA(SA) or MBA   Responsibilities: Conduct internal audits in terms of the approved internal audit coverage plan; Effectively manage the internal audit activity to ensure it adds value to the organization; Establish risk-based plans to determine priorities for the IA consistent with the goals and objectives of the company; Maintain policies and procedures to guide the internal audit activity; Planning, co-ordinating the execution and reporting of audit outcomes; Develop and maintain a quality assurance and improvement program that covers all aspects of the internal audit activity. Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of, and contribute to the improvement of the company’s Risk Management processes Assess and make appropriate recommendations for improving the governance processes
