Here we have on auction a Bop Army (ex-homelands) DPM camo field-dress long-sleeved shirt (med size) as worn by the Bophuthatswana Army pre-1994 (Bop is a now defunct SA ex-homelands from pre-1994) - in mint, unused condition. This item is from before the April 1994 period, just before the homelands were all re-intergrated back into SA. Interestingly this item also has the camo type buttons as found on some SAP items from the same era. This l/s shirt is in near mint (dusty from storage) almost new, unworn condition - this would make a great hunting jacket for a young lad! Please see the pics for further detail and as a confirmation of the item and its condition as on auction. Please note that the camo used as a background is not included in this auction. Original Strike Toys SADF Army Jeep & Trailer   Strike Toys (South African manufacturer during the 80's) tin army jeep and trailer. Strike Toys also produced an SADF and SAP coloured toys Casspirs, SADF Buffel and SADF Ratel among their range. Postnet R99.00 or sapo R60.00  

"The Brave Collection" is a limited series of challenge coins where the recipients of various bravery awards in the SADF or SAP are honored. Each coin is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the decorated recipient. A limited number of only 30 coins were manufactured. The coin diameter is 50mm. Staff Sergeant JJ (Koos) Moorcroft, who was attached to 1 Reconnaissance Regiment, was awarded the Van Riebeeck medal for bravery for an operation in Tanzania in 1974. From 1993 to 2001 he was  Sergeant Major of the South African Army. The "Koos Moorcroft coin" is #7 in the series.
