PC TECHNICIAN–IT DISTRIBUTION FANTASTIC SALARY ON OFFER PORT ELIZABETH | START ASAP Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will be based in Port Elizabeth and will be responsible for the following: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Desktop repairs – Hardware troubleshooting & repairs to desktop systems. Component testing & repair/replacement Peripheral testing for vendor escalation i.e. printers / digital cameras / CCTV Software recovery & repair – all OS’s Ability to troubleshoot communications devices i.e. network LAN’s / WAN’s. Escalation of technical repair jobs to maintain SLA turn-around time of 48 hours. Maintaining job card updates & customer feedback on repairs. Maintaining a flow & follow up of RMA replacements. i.e. completing fault reports / swap outs etc. Telephonic support REQUIREMENTS Be able to work in a pressured environment. Be able to complete jobs quickly & efficiently. Excellent communication skills required. Be willing to go the extra mile & complete tasks quickly. Excellent technical skills required.
