Limitless shapping power: In addition to the standard array of rotary Tone controls in the tube preamp, the WalkAbout features a 3-Band Semi-Parametric EQ for infinite control of the sound. Begin your shaping with the Active BASS and TREBLE controls and fill in the midrange with the classic response of the broad-band Passive MID. Once you¿re in the zone with the smooth, easy to dial nature of these preamp Tone controls, address any finer points by notching or boosting specific frequencies with the 3-Band Semi-Parametric EQ controls. There you have 15dB of cut or boost over the entire frequency range from 30Hz to12KHz. Simul-State power, Hybrid at it's best: Our Simul-State Power uses the ¿always on¿ nature of tubes to harness instant attack and incredible musicality in the driver stage in combination with the tight-tracking low end and bold authority of mosfets as the power device. A GROUND/LIFT switch removes the circuit Ground from Chassis ground to help eliminate grounding problems when interfacing to a Console.
