JUNIOR ARCADE TECH IN SOUTH AFRICA

My client is looking for a Junior arcade tech for their company. The candidate must have/be: - Ability to learn fast and be interested in new technologies - Observant with a professional manner - Strong appreciation for administrative processes and following IT best practices - Ability to apply skills and new technologies to improve business - Independent - Logical proactive thinker - Good communication skills - Patient - Have a strong technical/mechanical interest (take apart and rebuild computers) - The following technical skills are a pre-requisite: - Basics on Windows 7, 8 and 10 (How to install, update and configure it for a business network) - Basics on Windows Server 2008 and 2012 (How to install, update and configure it for a business network) - Basics on TCP/IP network (Able to deal with internet, vpn, subnetworks and routers setup) - Basics on how to test and repair PC Boards down to component level - Knowledge on how to read wiring diagrams - Basics on solder and de-solder technics The candidate must be willing to independently source information when required (support structures are all overseas). This role will be dual in that the candidate’s main responsibility will be to maintain and repair the arcade games and attractions but he/she will also be the support for the IT manager as and when required.
