Gibbaeum is a genus of about 21 species of succulent plants of the family Aizoaceae. The name "Gibbaeum" comes from the Latin "gibbosus" (=hunchback). They come from South Africa (Cape Province, Little Karoo). These succulent plants growing in clumps are characterized by pairs of leaves mostly globular or sometimes thick and arcuate The sizes of the leaves of a same pair are sometimes different. This dwarf plant has unequal grey-green leaf-pairs with white/pink flowers in spring.
