They say that luck is when opportunity meets preparation. And while this is true of Gabrib'/xc3/xab'lskloof as a whole, it is wonderfully demonstrated by the fine olive produced on the farm. Originally intended to be decorative, the olives have thrived in the valley and they now make oil from them. The olive groves are right at home in the cool Mediterranean climate, and they grow a mix of Coratina, Frantoio and Leccino olive trees on the sunny Gabrib'/xc3/xab'lskloof slopes. The fruit is small with intense flavour, and are hand-picked then cold-pressed to produce boutique-quality, extra virgin olive oil.
